The Dophi IRE marks the next generation of irreversible electroporation - a breakthrough platform engineered for precise, non-thermal soft-tissue ablation. Designed for the most challenging interventions in the liver, pancreas and prostate, it targets tumours with surgical accuracy while sparing the critical structures such as blood vessels, nerves, and bile ducts.
Short, high-voltage electric pulses create permanent nanopores in the cell membrane, leading to apoptotic cell death – without relying on heat. The extracellular matrix, vessels, nerves and bile ducts within the ablation zone remain structurally preserved.

Flexible 2- to 6-probe array configurations for tailored ablation geometry.
The mechanism of pore formation affects all cells exposed to the external electrical field, acting specifically on the phospholipid bilayers of cell membranes while leaving protein-based structures such as fibers, collagen, and the extracellular matrix unaffected.
